  This pub was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a go for Sunday lunch. Glad we booked, as there was a largish party leaving few tables available for walk-in. We have never considered The White Horse before.
  
  We ate in the conservatory which, of course, was light and pleasant. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. The starters sounded delicious, but we decided to forego and dive into the roast. No disappointment - it was as good as homemade and a more than ample serving. Plenty of good fresh veg, yorkshire and gravy.
  
  We just about had room for dessert! I chose the Eton Mess and my husband chose the Bread and Butter Pudding. Both were very good.
  
  We will be visiting again in the future.

  The food here is exceptional. Rarity these days to find homemade food in a pub that looks and tastes so good.
  The staff are very friendly and helpful.
